For those who do not know the person behind most of the material on this site, my name is Bobby joiner. You can read my short bio by following the link below. My nephew and partner in Joy714, Michael Joiner, and I truly love relating to Jesus Lovers ("the few") the  things that He daily puts on our hearts and we do this in a form we call "THE JESUS CAFE."

We realize that many of you use other devotional material  along with what we have been exhorted by Father to put out, so we thank you for joining our little family here. And if you do not currently receive our daily Jesus Cafe "emeals" (see the video "What is an emeal" if you have no clue what I'm talking about).

 

We chose the name  "JOY 714" because of the teachings of Jesus Christ.  He told us that HE became a man  so that HE could DIE FOR OUR SINS, be raised  from the dead and persoanlly invite us to both partake of HIS JOY while living on this earth and later to join HIM as HIS bride forever!

 

The one thing I have generally seen lacking in most Christian circles  that I have visited was JOY! Thus, we wanted folks who daily dine at the Jesus Cafe to know that God desires that we be JOY -FILLED no matter what we are going through down here.

 

Secondly, the 714 is taken from Matthew 7:13-14 where God  reveals to serious seekers that MANY are NOT going to believe---that only a FEW of us really will follow HIM into eternity!

 

As for the Jesus Cafe, these are servings of soul food which are sort of like a daily journal from me (or Mike when I am out of internet range) revealing to you  whatever Father has placed on my heart  for that day. One unique thing about the emeals is that we don't "do" these meals in advance and then ship them out  to you "frozen!"  

 

We try to keep them as fresh as we can! (Frozen food---whether it be physical or spiritual---just isn't as  good!) I try to include true stories I have been a witness to or been involved in in a personal way. The meals generally allow each of you to follow Jesus with us as we travel all over this world telling people about HIM.

 

Anyway, we realize alot of you delete them, half eat them, speed swallow them or eat them every once in a while and that's what's cool about the Jesus Cafe. All God wants us to do is prepare them and send them out free of charge---just like He left us His written Word---free of charge!

 

"WHAT WE DO WITH IT IS OUR CHOICE!"

 

We do appreciate those of you who take the time to write us and share your heart with us! And we love meeting many of you whenever we come into your area. It is so neat for a person to come up to me hundreds or thousands of miles away from home and say something like, "I read your Cafe and I just wanted to meet you!"  WOW!  Talk about Fellowship  goose bumps!

 

Today, we  have between 700 and 800 Cafers on 5 continents---from waiters in Australia to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan to  Christian business men in the former Soviet Union!

 

The one thing we all have in common is a hunger and desire to know Jesus Christ better so that we  can know more about  HIM and what HE WANTS US TO BE DOING before our personal, eye to eye meeting we will all have with HIM after we leave this ole planet.
