If we don't understand anything else in life, we best understand God's grace and what God's love has done for us. He allowed His only Son to be cut, spit on, beaten, ridiculed, shamed, charged, booked, nailed to a tree, and killed so we would not have to.

"Who do you say that I am" and...

"Will you follow me?"

To answer "I TRUST you are the Son of God, the Messiah sent to save a lost world of sinners, of which I am one" and "YES Lord Jesus, I will follow you" ensures that you are a child of the King. If you have true saving faith, this also guarantees you spending eternity with Jesus! What a great salvation!
